Induction Hardware's 36-Inch Outdoor Built-In Induction Griddle just won Best Outdoor Appliance in Domino's 2026 Good Design Awards, recognized alongside four other products the magazine says are changing the way our homes work this year.

Five Winners, One Standard
Domino's Good Design Awards celebrate appliances that do more than sit on a counter looking nice. This year's lineup includes a self-cleaning espresso machine from Terra Kaffe, a quieter garbage disposal from Composer, a robot vacuum from Matic that mops as well as it vacuums, and a sculptural wireless speaker from Samsung. Our griddle rounded out the list as the only outdoor pick, and the only one built around induction.
Why the Griddle Won
Domino's take on the griddle got right to the point:
"Go ahead and retire the propane tank."
The writeup called out what makes it different from a standard gas grill: two oversized induction coils power a removable carbon-steel surface that can sear on one side and simmer on the other, with no open flame and no gas line required. That also means it can go places a traditional grill can't, including balconies and other fire-restricted spaces where propane and charcoal aren't allowed.
